Just Notes from Korea

A Korean dad on everyday Korea, and a few stories from Canada

About Just Notes from Korea

Just Notes from Korea is a small personal blog by a Korean dad. Our family lived in Canada for two years, and now we are home in Korea.

Most notes are about everyday Korea: school, apartment life, food, holidays, getting around, and the unwritten rules of daily life. Some compare how things worked in Korea with what we found in Canada, and a few are simply stories from our time there.

The notes are written for readers in North America who are curious about Korea, and for families who move between the two.

To keep our family safe, the notes leave out our names, our home, our workplaces and our children’s faces.

Just Notes from Korea is published as part of the Blogiest network.
